2. Modify Registry

To modify registry,


  1. Press '' Windows + R ''
  2. Type '' regedit ''
  3. Go to Computer → HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE → SOFTWARE → Policies → Microsoft → Windows → WindowsUpdate
  4. Select AUOptions
  5. Type the value data as 0
  6. Click Ok


3. Disable Antivirus


Antivirus program can interfere with your computer and cause many complications such as your organization has turned off automatic updates error. It occurs mainly if the Antivirus program falsely identifies as an application as a threat. Thus, it prevents your windows from updating. 5. Delete WUServer
